It protects against wear, rust and corrosion, piston scuffing and combustion chamber deposits, high-temperature oxidation and valve train wear. Formula Shell’s 5W-20, 5W30 and 10W30 multi-grades are for all-weather protection.

Formula Shell’s 5W-20, 5W30 and 10W30 motor oils are energy conserving and API Certified SM and ILSAC GF-4 Motor Oils that meet OEM manufacturers' warranty requirements for gas engines where API SM,SL, SJ and earlier motor oils, are specified.

Formula Shell SAE 10W-40 and 20W-50 Motor Oils are premium high performance multigrade motor oils formulated to provide wide temperature range engine protection. Moreover, Formula Shell 10W-40 and 20W-50 motor oils exceed all automobile and light duty truck warranty requirements for gasoline and turbocharged engines where 10W-40 and 20W-50 motor oils are recommended. Formula Shell 10W-40 and 20W-50motor oils are API Classification SM and can be used in place of SL, SJ , SH or SG rated motor oils. Follow manufacturers’ recommendations for viscosity grade and API Service Category.
