Engine builders have become increasingly aware that some, or perhaps many, modern motor oils do not provide adequate wear protection for newly built engines, especially those with flat-tappet cams or “highly loaded” roller cams. SYNMAX engine break-in oil can eliminate virtually all such problems with their well-formulated 10W-45 engine break-in oil.
SYNMAX break-in oil is formulated with mineral oil, which is preferred for engine break-in. In addition, it contains high levels of zinc, phosphorus and other additives to optimize protection for both flat-tappet and roller cam engines.
SYNMAX break-in oil does not require the use of any other chemical additives. We recommend using SYNMAX Racing Oils or Classic - Hot Rod motor oils after the engine is broken in for maximum engine protection and performance.

Special designed SynMax break-in gear lube formulation evens out micro sized peaks and valleys of the mating parts for increased power / performance with overall component durability.
