Euro Synthetic Oils is proud to offer our customers the WIX Oil Filter Line. The Canton Racing Products’ CM Oil Filter Line that we offer represents what we believe to be the best Racing and High Performance Oil Filter Line available in the market place. However, we wanted to offer our customers a standard oil filter line of top quality oil filters that are second to none. Euro Synthetic Oils also wanted an oil filter line available for the broadest of OEM applications. That brought us to Wix Oil Filters.
WIX is known world wide for its filtration products for the automotive and light truck market. Founded in 1939, the Gastonia, N.C., company earned acclaim during World War II when it created an oil filter out of a paper tube, wooden plugs and yarn when steel was in short supply. In 1954 WIX created the revolutionary spin-on oil filter that was eventually adopted as original equipment on most vehicles. Today WIX manufactures some of the best filtration products on the market today. Wix is also known for its high performance and support of NASCAR racing. Wix oil filters are the most used oil filter in NASCAR.
WIX oil filters are also well known for their excellent construction. Their oil filters have a full metal base plate for superior strength at the double seal. They feature a silicone anti-drainback valve that stays flexible in extreme temperatures. This improves oil flow; but most importantly, keeps oil in the filter to prevent dry starts. Dry start-ups create noisy lifters, noisy timing chains and other engine noises as well, in addition to increased engine wear. WIX oil filters employ an up-front by-pass valve. This design is superior to top-mounted valves because it helps to keep oil from washing past dirty media and entering the engine. The glass-enhanced media in WIX oil filters offers greater efficiency, capturing more 10 to 12 micron sized particles than other cellulose/synthetic blend media. Also, a steel coil spring is utilized to ensure internal filter parts remain sealed properly.
Finally, Euro Synthetic Oils wanted an oil filter line that included excellent high performance and Racing Filters in addition to the standard automotive and light truck applications. WIX has been a part of racing and NASCAR for many years, both as a sponsor and in the race cars. The company’s long-standing relationship with NASCAR not only demonstrates that its filters are top-quality products, but it also shows their dedication to innovation which is necessary to successfully participate. From Richard Petty to Joe Gibbs Racing, Wix Oil Filters have been a part of Nascar. Wix Filters are trusted by more NASCAR race teams than any other brand. Jeff Blocher, brand manager for WIX Filters, hopes to grow Team WIX racing to more than 200 local race teams in 2009. “We understand the pressure fluctuations, high temperatures and rapid breakdown of engine oil that occur during a race; we’ve designed our racing filters to overcome these challenges so drivers, whether racing on super speedways or local hometown dirt tracks, can concentrate on what matters – taking the checkered-flag.” Check The Link Below For Special Information About The Wix Racing Oil Filters.
Buying or selling one filter at a time, with shipping costs, does not make economic sense. Spreading the shipping costs over six or more filters makes sense. We do the same thing with oils. The minimum purchase in liters/quarts is five. Purchasing one liter, again, does not make economic sense. We hope you agree with us and purchase these 6-packs/Cases of 12. TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR FILTER, WE HAVE INDEXED THE OIL FILTERS AS FOLLOWS:
WIX[1] = RACING FILTERS IN 6 PACKS
WIX[2] = RACING FILTERS IN CASES OF 12
WIX[3] = STANDARD SPIN-ON FILTERS IN 6 PACKS
WIX[4] = STANDARD SPIN-ON FILTERS IN CASES OF 12
WIX[5] = CANISTER FILTERS IN 6 PACKS
WIX[6] = CANISTER FILTERS IN CASES OF 12
The pictures beside the oil filter stock number are meant to be a general depiction. Some of the spin-on oil filters are white, and some are black, some are small and some are very large. We have not shown these distinctions. Also, with the canister filters, what we have displayed is a yellow-brown filter. The actual filter might be red or entirely made with a metal casing. Again, some are relatively small and some are very large.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE PICTURES AS A SELECTION FACTOR; BUT, STAY FOCUSED ON THE STOCK NUMBER INDICATED FOR YOUR VEHICLE BY THE WIX LOOKUP GUIDE.
